Fibers First Inc.'s 100th processing customer came in just recently. Thanks goes to Highlander Ranch Alpacas for stopping by and being number 100!
My Jeep is full of fiber! I didn’t realize I had so much until I gathered it all up from the various storage places I or my husband had placed them. So I have 4 sheep fleece, 4-5 llama fleece and 3 shearing of Angora goat.
As I drove into work this morning the smells made me feel like I was traveling in company with all those critters. When I go out this afternoon I may find the fragrance a bit overwhelming, but still it brings me close to them, home and the peace that spinning brings me.
See you later,
Have you ever felt like this with your fiber? I feel excited to come to work and get to play with fiber everyday now. Fiber is my passion! Below is a picture of some of the worsted weight columbia X yarn that I have been spinning. I washed all of it last night and it is hanging out to dry today. Totally exciting for me!
